2025 Adore Mae Salon Policies:
At Adore Mae Salon, we are dedicated to providing a professional and enjoyable experience for all our valued clients. To ensure smooth operations and fair practices, we have established the following policies:
Smoke Break Policy for Guests:
We understand that some clients may wish to take a smoke break during their appointment. To ensure a pleasant environment for everyone and comply with local regulations, we have the following guidelines:
Time Allotment: We request that smoke breaks be kept to a reasonable duration, ideally no longer than 5 minutes. Please inform your stylist if you need to take a break.
Impact on Service Time: Please be aware that the time taken for smoke breaks is still part of your scheduled appointment time. If a smoke break causes a significant delay in your service, it may impact the ability of your stylist to complete your service within the originally allocated time, and may result in an additional charge. The potential charge is $20 per 15 minutes the stylist goes over due to smoke breaks.
Respect for Others: Please be respectful of other guests and refrain from smoking near entrances or windows.
Local Laws: We strictly adhere to all local laws regarding smoking in Palmyra, Pennsylvania.
Disposal: Please dispose of cigarette waste responsibly off salon property.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. However, to respect our stylists' time and ensure we can accommodate all clients, we have the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation Notice: We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be considered a late cancellation. A fee of 50% of the service cost will be charged to the card on file.
No-Shows: Failure to arrive for your scheduled appointment without any prior notification will be considered a no-show. A fee of 100% of the service cost will be charged to the card on file.
Multiple Cancellations/No-Shows: Repeated cancellations or no-shows may require a non-refundable deposit for future bookings. We reserve the right to refuse future service for excessive cancellations or no-shows.
Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your situation.
Card on File Policy:
To streamline our booking and payment process, we require a valid credit or debit card to be kept on file for all appointments.
Authorization: By providing your card details, you authorize Adore Mae Salon to charge your card for any applicable cancellation fees, no-show fees, or for the full cost of services rendered.
Security: We take the security of your payment information seriously and use secure payment processing systems.
Aftercare for Color Services:
To ensure the longevity and vibrancy of your color, please follow these important aftercare instructions:
Do not wash your hair for at least 48 hours after your color service. This allows the color to fully set and minimizes premature fading.
Please follow your stylist's specific aftercare instructions for the best results. This includes products used to maintain your color.
Damaged Clothing Policy:
We take every precaution to protect your clothing during your salon service by providing a protective cape. However, accidents can occasionally happen.
Salon Liability: Adore Mae Salon and its staff are not liable for any damage to your personal clothing that may occur during your salon service. This includes but is not limited to stains from hair color, product spills, or any other accidental contact.
Client Responsibility: We recommend wearing clothing that you do not mind potentially getting a small amount of product on.
No Refunds/Returns Policy:
At Adore Mae Salon, we are committed to providing high-quality services and products. To maintain our business operations and fair pricing, we have the following policy regarding refunds and returns:
Salon Services: All salon services are non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with a service, please notify your stylist or the salon manager within 7 days of your service. We are committed to working with you to find a satisfactory solution, which may include a complimentary adjustment or a consultation for future services. Adjustments are at the discretion of the salon and the stylist who performed the original service.
Retail Products: All retail product sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on opened or used products.
By booking an appointment or receiving services at Adore Mae Salon, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of these policies.
